At the Institute of Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University, our mission is to enhance the financial planning and counseling professions through cutting edge research, training imminently qualified and ethical professionals at both the undergraduate and master's levels, and preparing doctoral students to lead CFP(R) Board registered programs. We believe in achieving this goal one individual at a time, by helping each student strive for personal success. We are committed to giving ambitious, dedicated students the tools to excel academically and professionally. K-State does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP (with flame logo)® certification marks. CFP® Certification is granted only by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
